Privacy Policy

Our Aims
We take your privacy very seriously.

InterimContrator.com is interested in providing you with the opportunity to secure contracts directly with potential clients. We do not act as a recruitment consultant and we do not pass any of your details onto any third parties. We will never do this without your consent. Where consent is given, it is possible to withdraw it at any time.

You are in control of your profile, and you decide whether or not you will respond to an enquiry from a potential client. People viewing your profile cannot access your direct contact details. They must use the InterimContractor.com contact button within your profile, and messages are sent without revealing your email address.

We do not even collect data about you using cookies that track your activity like most other websites do. That is why there are no cookie policy pop-ups when you visit our website.

As the membership grows, we have plans for two things;
  1. Add functionality to the website that alerts you to relevant contract opportunities advertised on the website.
  2. Use the strength of our membership to negotiate special terms with third parties that are relevant to interim contractors (e.g. professional indemnity insurance discounts, hotel discounts, training discounts). When we secure such opportunities, we would like to let you know about them by email.

When these new services are available, we will not pass your details onto third parties to contact you directly, we will communicate opportunities and benefits to you directly. You can then decide if you want to submit a proposal for a contract opportunity or take advantage of a user benefit.

The above two options for direct contact by us will be on an opt in basis. You will be able to opt in and out at any time by ticking or unticking the appropriate box on your account management page.

Please note that InterimContractor.com reserves the right to remove from our database, profiles which include any content that we consider to be illegal, offensive or not relevant to the goals of the site.

IP address information
Like many websites, we routinely capture IP address information of visitors in order to determine their location and the browser that they use. Website users are not personally identifiable from this data (e.g. names, addresses etc), but it helps us to work out;
  1. the geographic profile of visitors at the country level (e.g. UK or EU);

2. which browsers our website needs to support;
  3. the volume of visitors.

An IP address, or 'internet protocol address', is a unique identifying number given to every device connected to the internet.
