Welcome to the Windy Folk Events page

Regular nights

• When: On the second and fourth Thursday of every month (except August, due to festivals)

• Time: Singing and music from 7.30pm until 10.30pm

• Where: The Conservative Club, 6 High Street, Chard, Somerset. TA20 1QB.

• Cost: FREE.

• Who: Anyone:
  • Singers - Sing traditional folk songs, self penned songs or any genre that grabs you.
  • Musicians - play any instrument without amplification. Traditional, self written as well as modern tunes
  • Story Tellers - Read or recite from memory short stories or anecdotes
  • Poets - Read or recite self penned or any short poems you have in your collection
  • and, of course, the ever important audience. Please feel free to come along and listen to some fun and quality music and spoken word.
